Na Hui Ikaika’s mission is to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture and heritage through outrigger canoe paddling to young ladies while empowering them to be strong women both mentally and physically.  Our organization will use the sport of outrigger canoe paddling to improve physical fitness, educate the youth regarding the importance of the outrigger canoe paddling to their culture, and foster our young women to become strong, independent members of society.  Na Hui Ikaika will provide the tools to create powerful young women through camps, clinics, weekly programs, and a mentorship with the community. The girls and women involved with the organization will volunteer with local environment programs and malama the kai and aina. Overall, the goal of Na Hui Ikaika is to empower young ladies to be the best version of themselves as women, athletes, and Hawaiian community members.
